| | Job Openings | Clerk to the Council-
Town is seeking a qualified candidate for a clerk to the Council. The Clerk works under the supervision of the Mayor.
Chief of Police- The Town is seeking candidates to serve as the police chief to bring affective leadership to the Department |
| | Mayor and Council Work Session | There will be a closed executive session following the January 10, 2023 work session |
| | Proposed Registration of Vacant Lots -Public Hearing | The Mayor and Council are proposing to amend the Code of Ordinances of the Town of Fairmount Heights by adding Chapter 11, Article 1-Registration of Vacant Lots. Owners or purchasers of each vacant lot must register with the Town of Fairmount Heights, Office of Code Enforcement no later than 30 days after acquiring a vacant lot. The first reading of the proposed ordinance was read on Wednesday July 17, 2019. The Council will be on recess during the month of August, thus the second reading will be held on Wednesday September 18, 2019 at 7:30 P.M. The third and final reading will be held on Wednesday October 16, 2019 at 7:30 P.M. All citizens, property owners, stakeholders and others with an interest in the Town of Fairmount Heights may submit their written comments to the Town Clerk, JoAnn Tucker or the Town Manager at 301-925-8585.
